Really much better then the previous ones, as it dropped most of the more obnoxious journaling elements. Though maybe as a result, it had a different edge to the story then the previous ones. And maybe it's just Beka's maturation.
I was a tiny bit confused by the introduction of the fiance at the beginning, and a bit sad to lose Rosto as a love interest, but le sigh...I can get over it! Great story (I was really invested) and a nice finish to the trilogy.
